What a special day we have had celebrating our wonderful Mams, Nanas and special people in our lives at our ‘Mother’s Day Cafe’

This week is British Science Week, we will be exploring lots of different experiments.
The children have started investigating connections between weight and ramps.
We explored how far cars would roll and if it changed depending on the height of the ramp. We also explored different weighted tins to see if this changed the results. We then changed the surfaces of the ramps by adding guttering and blankets to see if this made a difference to how far or fast it would roll.
Maybe you could try this experiment at home.
Sharing a book with your child is one of the most important things you can do.
It encourages children to talk, listen and respond to their imagination, curiosity and emotions.
We used World Book Day to invite our parents into the nursery to share their child’s favourite stories.

Welcome back!
We welcomed some new friends into Blue group. They are having lots of fun exploring their new environment.
Our returning children have come back happy and settled back into our routine.
The children have been keen to try some of our new activities in nursery.
What a magical night!
The North Pole Elves and Fairies landed at Oxclose Community Nursery School and left us some clues to find their special houses!
Santa also paid us a special visit!
